TripGPA is a new feature within the eItinerary that calculates a score for that individual trip based on 4 key metrics, driving savings and security in a managed program.
Many of our clients have requested assistance in encouraging their travelers to book within policy, although they do not have any stringent mandates - rather guidelines. The result is a lack of compliance primarily within hotel attachment.
TI created TripGPA to remind the traveler of the importance to policy compliance, providing a subliminal message that the company is tracking their purchasing decisions to reduce their overall cost, as well as ensure the highest safety and duty of care possible for their travelers.
TripGPA is ONLY calculating the compliance specific to this individual trip, rather than Performance Scorecard calculating for a full month or longer time period.
Where do I find the TripGPA on the eItinerary? The TripGPA calculation is placed in the upper right hand corner of the eItinerary. |

How does the traveler know what their individual component score is?By clicking on the TripGPA score, it will open a box including the individual component calculation. |

However, it is Travel Incorporated’s perspective that this simple score will encourage a shift in traveler buying behavior to be more policy compliant for both cost savings as well as improved ability to support them for duty of care.
