Why is Travel Incorporated updating the eItinerary email notification?

Based upon feedback from our travelers, we were asked to provide a more visually friendly version of the traveler’s itinerary within their email confirmation. This new look and feel provides the traveler with a graphical summary of their upcoming trip.

The enhancement also has the ability to download each of your trip components to your calendar to avoid any time zone discrepancies. See follow up question that speaks to this section of the enhancements.

Is the summary graphic interactive within this email notification?

The email will have a link located at the top of the summary which will allow the traveler to view their interactive eItinerary online. However, the visual itself is simply a graphical view of the trip summary.

Is the itinerary still available through TI Mobile?

Yes. TI Mobile continues to provide all itinerary management benefits for the traveler including their current, prior, and upcoming trip information.

What are the download attachments underneath the graphic?

This enhancement allows the traveler to download each component of their trip via an “.ics” link that directly downloads that component into your calendar. If the traveler has multiple components, for example an airline and a hotel component booked for your trip, they will have multiple download options – one for the outbound air, one for the return air and if a hotel is booked, one specifically for the hotel component.
